Teacher's Pet?

by Joe Cassady

A student comes to a young professor's office. She glances down the hall, enters, then quickly and quietly closes his door. She struts around his desk, then kneels in front of his chair. She leans pleadingly toward the young professor and says "I would do anything to pass this exam." Then she leans ever so closer to him, flips back her hair, and gazes meaningfully into his eyes and whispers softly "What I mean is I would do anything."

He returns her gaze, his voice softly says "Anything?

She whispers in his ear "Anything."

He gazes back into her eyes and softly says "Would you study?"
