Tickets for Paul McCartney 's July 9 concert at Boston's Fenway Park are going, going, gone! In fact, the show sold out in just five minutes on Friday morning, setting a record for the quickest sellout for any concert ever held at the ballpark.
This marks the second major Fenway milestone for the former Beatles star. His 2009 shows at the stadium, on August 5 and 6, set a record for the highest attendance at a two-day concert engagement held there.
In other McCartney news, Sir Paul has added two more U.S. dates to his Out There World Tour. He'll play the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on May 29 and Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., on July 12. Tickets for the events will go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 12, at 10 a.m. local time at BOKCenter.com for the Tulsa concert and Nationals.com/McCartney for the Washington, D.C., show.
