Robert Plant has lined up his first official U.S. tour with his new group, Sensational Space Shifters .  The trek gets under way with a June 20 concert at the Palladium in Dallas and is plotted out through a July 27 gig in Brooklyn, New York's Prospect Park.

Among the 21 scheduled shows are five festival appearances, including previously announced sets at the High Sierra Festival on July 4 in Quincy, California; the JamBase Live Festival on July 6 in George, Washington; and the Forecastle Festival on July 14 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Plant's Sensational Space Shifters include several members of his early-2000s group The Strange Sensation , as well as Gambian multi-instrumentalist Juldeh Camara .  The band plays reworked renditions of songs that span the singer's entire career -- including Led Zeppelin tunes, solo material and select covers.  At the same time, the collective combines elements of a wide array of genres that have long enamored Plant, including hard rock, psychedelia, blues, American and British folk, Middle Eastern, techno and West African sounds.
