(WNFL) - The Marquette women's basketball team will close out its non-conference schedule tonight, when it hosts Denver.  The Golden Eagles are 8-and-2, after beating Oral Roberts by eight points in overtime on Wednesday.  Junior Arlesia Morse led Marquette with a career-high 28 points and six steals in that game.  Denver comes in at 1-and-9, with a seven-game losing streak.  The Pioneers' only victory came last month against Air Force.  Kailey Edwards leads Denver in scoring with almost 13-and-a-half points a night.  Maiya Michel leads Denver on the boards with eight-point-four rebounds per game.  A win tonight would give Marquette its best non-conference record in three years.  They went 12-and-1 against non-league opponents in the 2010-and-'11 campaign.
