SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Police have not released any names and continue their investigation into Thursday's fatal, seven-vehicle crash at 41st Street and MInnesota Avenue. Lieutenant Jerry Miller says a Chevy Blazer was northbound on Minnesota Avenue at high spped when it rear-ended a Durango with five occupants. Miller says the force of that collision set off a chain reaction with two other northbound vehicles and two eastbound vehicles on 41st street. Miller says the high speed, Blazer veered into the Taylor's Pantry parking lot, vaulted off a large sign and landed on an unoccupied minivan. The driver of the Blazer was dead at the scene and six people were hospitalized with what authorities say are non-life threatening injuries.
