Stevie Nicks and country trio Lady Antebellum joined together Tuesday at Sony Pictures Studios in Los Angeles to tape their installment of CMT Crossroads . Among the people in attendance was Aerosmith 's Steven Tyler , who posted a picture of himself with Lady Antebellum on his website after the event, with the note, "The whole night was a magic moment."
According to RollingStone.com , Nicks and the country act expressed their mutual admiration throughout the evening. The Fleetwood Mac singer revealed she had spent three months listening to Lady A music while preparing for the concert. "These songs are amazing," she declared. "These songs make you feel like you're in love."
The show started off with six Lady Antebellum tunes and finished with five songs from Nicks' solo and Fleetwood Mac catalog. Before a performance of the trio's new tune "Golden," Stevie told the audience that she was moved to tears a half minute into hearing the song for the first time, describing it as Lady Antebellum's "Landslide."
In response, Lady A singer Charles Kelley said, "Now we might cry."
Later on, prior to Stevie and the country stars singing a rendition of Nicks' hit "Edge of Seventeen," she explained that she usually doesn't like to perform the tune with anyone else because of how personal it is to her. She added, "I'm proud to share it with Lady Antebellum, because they're good enough to do it."
