Pierre, S.D. (KELO-AM) – South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley is encouraging consumers with service complaints or concerns about scams to call his office. Jackley's office is participating in the 15th annual National Consumer Protection Week (NCPW). Jackley says NCPW is a coordinated campaign that encourages consumers nationwide to take full advantage of their consumer rights and make better-informed decisions.
“The Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division plays a vital role in the enforcement of laws that protect consumers and provide mediation services to help resolve complaints,” said Jackley. “This week reiterates the importance of all consumer organizations working together to ensure that consumers are being protected.”
