Boys threatened into stranger's car

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Two Sioux Falls boys, age 12 and 13, say they were threatened by four, older teenage boys to get into a car and were driven around town for a half hour before being released.

Officer Sam Clemens says the boys were throwing snowballs on North Lake Avenue last night when one of them hit a passing car.

Clemens says the car backed up, a door opened and a passenger made a comment similar to you better get in or we're gonna shoot.  The boys got into to the back seat of the car, which drove around tiown, and they felt the occupants were trying to intimidate them.

Clemens says the boys were released near 18th Street and Southeastern Avenue.

One of the boys called his mother who called police after picking them up.  They gave only vague description of the car and the suspects.
