Rick Springfield has joined the lineup of a star-studded benefit concert that's scheduled to take place Wednesday at the famous Whisky a Go Go club in Los Angeles. The Rock Against MS show will provide financial support to ailing music publicist Nancy Sayle , who not only has been battling multiple sclerosis but also has recently been diagnosed with a pituitary gland tumor.
The lineup for the show also includes such well known rockers as founding Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler , Motorhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister , Foreigner bassist Jeff Pilson , longtime Ramones drummer Marky Ramone , ex- Deep Purple bassist/singer Glenn Hughes , Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Rob "Blasko" Nicholson , Chickenfoot touring drummer Kenny Aronoff and many more. In addition, a surprise guest star also will be taking part in the concert.
According to the Whisky a Go Go's official website , a guitar signed by all the performers will be raffled off at the benefit. Tickets are priced from $35 to $150 and are available for purchase now at TicketFly.com . If you buy tickets on the day of the show, prices are a bit higher.
