SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - The Minnehaha County Commission today heard four options from the petition gatherer’s, policy committee.
Chairwoman Erin Srstka says the committee looked at the current policy and decided to leave it as is except for gathering signatures in inclement weather.
Srstka says the first two options include standing in the breezeway or standing directly inside the doorway to the side of the wall. The third option is to construct a shelter, similar to a bus stop, right outside the doorway. She says the fourth option is to build a new, more open entrance. There are costs associated with the last two proposals.
The Commission will consider action on the recommendations next week.
