On May 28, John Fogerty will celebrate his 68th birthday -- and the arrival of his latest album, Wrote a Song for Everyone -- with a special one-off performance at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles.  Members of the ex- Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman's fan club now have the chance to purchase a limited number of pre-sale tickets to the show via JohnFogerty.com.

The event also will be filmed and will air live on AXS TV starting at 8:30 p.m. PT.  As previously reported, Wrote a Song for Everyone includes new versions of select tunes from Fogerty's CCR and solo catalog that he recorded with various rock, pop, R&B and country stars.

Among the artists featured on the album are Bob Seger , Foo Fighters , Kid Rock , Rage Against the Machine 's Tom Morello , Jennifer Hudson , My Morning Jacket , Brad Paisley , Miranda Lambert , Alan Jackson , Keith Urban and The Zac Brown Band .  The 14-track collection also includes two new solo Fogerty recordings -- "Mystic Highway" and "Train of Fools" -- as well as a rendition of Creedence's "Lodi" that features John's sons, Shane and Tyler .
