Jackson Browne will hit the stage of the famed Los Angeles-area club The Troubadour on November 24 to help raise money for the Rock School Scholarship Fund.  The singer-songwriter will be on hand to play a few songs with students from two local School of Rock facilities.

The Rock School Scholarship Fund is a nonprofit initiative that provides instruments and financial support for scholarships that help young people interested in attending rock-themed music schools around the U.S.  Tickets for the concert go on sale this Saturday at 10 a.m. PT and can be purchased at Troubadour.com.  The tickets are priced at $60 for general admission and $120 for VIP passes.

"Jackson Browne is an inspiration to the students," says fund co-founder Wendy Winks .  "We are honored to have his support for this benefit concert."

Adds her fellow co-founder, Carl Restivo , "The students from the School of Rock are excited beyond belief!  The show will include some of Jackson Browne's greatest hits and a few surprise numbers as well."

The concert will begin at 7 p.m. PT.  The Troubadour is located in West Hollywood, California.  To find out more about the Rock School Scholarship Fund, visit RockSchoolFund.org .
