A variety of artists from the early rock 'n' roll era have contributed to a new album celebrating the music of former White Stripes frontman Jack White .  Rockin' Legends Pay Tribute to Jack White , which is due out November 19, features such veteran acts as rockabilly great Wanda Jackson , pop star Bobby Vee and R&B singer Gary U.S. Bonds putting their own spin on the prolific 38-year-old musician's songs.

The album boasts 14 tracks, including covers of White Stripes hits as well tunes from White's work with The Raconteurs and from his debut solo album, 2012's Blunderbuss .  Other artists featured on the album include rockabilly pioneers Sonny Burgess , Johnny Powers and Joe Clay , journeyman British guitarist Chris Spedding , retro rocker Robert Gordon , R&B saxophonist Big Jay McNeely and contemporary country star Shooter Jennings .

Jackson, whose 2011 album The Party Ain't Over was produced by White, teams up with Jennings on a rendition of The White Stripes' "In the Cold, Cold Night" that kicks off the album.  To get an idea of what you can expect from the release, head over to RollingStone.com , which currently is streaming the track.
