A special vinyl 7-inch concert EP from The Rolling Stones will be released on November 29 in conjunction with Record Store Day's "Back to Black Friday" event. Got Live If You Want It! is a six-track collection that originally was issued in 1965 in the U.K.
The disc bears the same name as a full-length live album released in the U.S. in 1966, although it's made up of completely different songs. The EP was recorded in March 1965 during The Stones' fifth U.K. tour at shows in London, Liverpool and Manchester.
Among the tunes featured are renditions of Solomon Burke 's "Everybody Needs Somebody to Love," Otis Redding 's "Pain in My Heart" and the oft-covered R&B classic "Route 66." Also included is an early Mick Jagger - Keith Richards composition "I'm Alright," as well as a snippet of the audience chanting "We want the Stones."
To mark each Record Store Day event, a wide variety of artists issue limited-edition vinyl singles, EPs and LPs that are sold exclusively at participating independent record shops. Visit RecordStoreDay.com to check out the full list of Back to Black Friday releases.
