Brian Setzer rips it up on a brand-new album titled Rockabilly Riot! All Original , which hits stores today .  The 12-track collection is the former Stray Cats frontman's first studio effort since 2011's Setzer Goes Instru-Mental!

Setzer recorded the album in Nashville with slap-bass guitarist Mark Winchester , piano player Kevin McKendree and drummer Noah Levy -- three musicians he describes as "the best in their craft."  Rockabilly Riot! was produced by Peter Collins , who previously worked with the singer/guitarist on two Brian Setzer Orchestra albums -- 1998's The Dirty Boogie and 2000's Vavoom!

Setzer says the new record "sounds to me a little bit like the first Stray Cats record," adding, "It's rockabilly songs.  It's not just blues songs in the rockabilly style."

Brian also points out that the album is devoid of studio trickery.  "There's no overdubs, there's no splicing, there's no Auto-Tuning," he declares.  "What you hear is what you get, it's pretty much us making live music."

The lead single from Rockabilly Riot! is "Let's Shake," an adrenaline-infused rave-up with all the classic elements of early rock 'n' roll.  You can check out an official video for the tune at Setzer's official YouTube channel .

In other news, Brian will be hitting the road this fall for an new installment of the Brian Setzer Orchestra's Christmas Rocks Extravaganza .  The trek currently is mapped out from a November 14 concert in Minneapolis through a December 21 performance in Los Angeles.
