Lionel Richie and super-producer David Foster are among the luminaries heading to Italy next month for Celebrity Fight Night , an annual benefit that raises money for Parkinson's disease. While the event normally takes place in Phoenix, Arizona, this will mark the first year that it will be held outside the U.S.
Also on the bill are country star Reba McEntire , Larry King , Sophia Loren and opera star Andrea Bocelli . Boxing legend and Parkinson's sufferer Muhammad Ali , the face of Celebrity Fight Night, also has been invited.
The weekend-long event will feature 100 donors and special guests being wined and dined around Tuscany, Italy, and they'll be entertained at a private party where Richie, McEntire, comedian Sinbad and others will perform; Foster will be the musical director.
The weekend, which will feature the participation of top Italian fashion houses, as well as automaker Maserati, culminates in a gala dinner September 7 where Bocelli will perform. His charity foundation will also benefit from the event.
