Meat Loaf has lined up a second residency of his RockTellz & CockTails show, the Las Vegas production that combines a concert performance, archival film and photos and a Q&A session. The new series, which again will be held at the PH Showroom at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, kicks off on February 13 and is scheduled through April 8, with performances taking place each week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 7 p.m. PT.
The famed singer's previous RockTellz & CockTails residency ran from this past September 26 until November 5.
"I had so much fun doing the show in the fall, I couldn't wait to extend my time in Vegas when they asked me to," says Meat Loaf in a statement. "For me, the show is more than just another concert because the RockTellz & CockTails format allows me to add something different. I'm able to bring together music, acting and theater and do things you can't normally do when you're on the road."
During the show, Meat Loaf sings many of his classic hits from his Bat out of Hell trilogy, including "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" and "I Would Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)." He also shares a variety of exciting stories about his long career in show business with the audience.
Tickets for the show go on this sale Tuesday, January 7, at 10 a.m. PT. A percentage of the price of each ticket is donated to a Grammy Foundation initiative that supports music-education programs in the Las Vegas area.
The producers of the RockTellz & CockTails series plan on announcing a new headliner for the show soon. For more information, visit RockTellz.com .
