An initial list of performers has been announced for the upcoming CBS TV special The Night that Changed America: A Grammy Salute to The Beatles , which will be taped January 27, the day after the Grammy Awards.  The program, which looks back on the 50th anniversary of The Beatles ' historic appearance on the legendary variety show The Ed Sullivan Show , will feature a one-off reunion by the '80s pop duo Eurythmics , as well as performances from Alicia Keys , John Legend , John Mayer , Keith Urban and Maroon 5 .

The special will feature a variety of top artists performing the songs that The Beatles performed that famous night in 1964, as well as other tunes from the Fab Four's catalog.  Keys and Legend will team up for an onstage collaboration, while Mayer and Urban also will perform together.

The Night that Changed America: A Grammy Salute to The Beatles  will air February 9 at 8 p.m. ET, which is the exact date and time that The Beatles' original Ed Sullivan Show performance aired.  You can buy tickets to attend the taping, which will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center, by visiting AXS.com or by calling 1-877-234-8425.  More performers and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks.
