Styx and Foreigner and the Rock to the Rescue organization have thanked the Philadelphia Fire Department in a big way, presenting the Local #22 Widows Fund with $10,000.

As previously reported, a fire damaged two buses servicing the bands' road crews on July 2 while the vehicles were parked in a secure lot in Philadelphia. The blaze was quickly contained by local fire department workers.

The band announced at their show at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, New Jersey that proceeds raised by sales of The Soundtrack of Summer compilation CDs sold that evening would be donated to the local fireman's charity.

The Soundtrack of Summer album offers a selection of classic songs by Styx and Foreigner, plus a newly-recorded version of "Hotel California" featuring members of both bands and the tour's special guest, ex- Eagles guitarist Don Felder .

The Soundtrack of Summer tour continues with a stop at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota on July 17.
