The Rolling Stones have postponed their Wednesday night concert in Perth, Australia, in wake of the news that Mick Jagger ’s girlfriend, fashion designer L'Wren Scott , was found dead Monday of an apparent suicide in her New York City apartment.

In a joint statement issued Tuesday, Frontier Touring and Concerts West said the Rolling Stones concert in Perth “will not be going ahead as scheduled for Wednesday 19 March 2014.”

The statement continues, “No further information is available at this time, ticket holders are asked to hold on to their tickets until a further update is available.”

The band is in Australia for a series of shows that was set to kick off with Wednesday’s concert.

It’s unclear whether the rest of the Down Under tour will be affected.

Scott began dating Jagger in 2001.  A spokesperson for the rock legend told ABC News Radio that the singer is "completely shocked and devastated" by the news.

Here are the Rolling Stones’ scheduled concert dates for Australia and New Zealand:

3/19 -– Perth, AU, Perth Arena (Postponed)
3/22 -- Adelaide, AU, Oval
3/25 -– Sydney, AU, Allphones Arena
3/28 -– Melbourne, AU, Rod Laver Arena
3/30 -– Macedon, AU, Hanging Rock
4/2 -– Brisbane, AU, Brisbane Entertainment Centre
4/5 -– Auckland, NZ,  Mt. Smart Stadium
