PIERRE, S.D. (KELO.com) — She’s not quite on the cover of Rolling Stone, but there’s a big feature story about her.

Writer Stephen Rodrick spent three weeks in South Dakota this winter gathering information and interview on Governor Kristi Noem.

The critical article focuses on Noem’s response to the coronavirus and her political ambitions.

The fact that Noem has emerged from a public-health disaster smelling so sweet has baffled some political observers. Actually, her moves make sense if you know that Noem is running for president. Sure, she’ll deny it, but combine the nonstop Fox appearances, the endless campaigning, and the presence of Trump whisperer (Corey)Lewandowski and you have all the ingredients for a 2024 bid.
