TEA, S.D. (KELO.com) — The Tea Police Department now says the man they are looking for has left the area.
The police say he stole a vehicle.
They issued the following update on their Facebook page:
**UPDATE THE SUBJECT STOLE A VEHICLE AND IS OUT OF THE AREA**
CHECK YOUR SECURITY CAMERAS & SURROUNDINGS IF YOU HAD UNLOCKED DOORS OR OPEN VEHICLES. THERE ARE REPORTS OF MISSING PROPERTY.
WE ARE ACTIVELY SEARCHING FOR A NATIVE AMERICAN MALE IN A WHITE SHIRT, DARK PANTS, LONG BLACK HAIR. LOCK YOUR DOORS, SHUT YOUR GARAGES. LAST SEEN IN A RESIDENCE ON NORTH POPLAR AND THEN IN THE WEST APPLE AREA. DO NOT APPROACH. CALL 911

TEA, S.D. (KELO.com) — The Tea Police Department has issued a warning about a man they are looking for in the community.
In a Facebook post (below), they say he is a Native American man in a white shirt, dark pants, and long hair. They say not to approach the man.
The Tea Police did not say whether the man is a suspect or a person in need of assistance.
