SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — An Onida, South Dakota man is behind bars for felony rape after an encounter with 3 juveniles on May 13th.
Steven West, 73, of Onida is charged with 3 counts of rape after convincing 3 young girls to meet up with him through a conversation on Instagram, according to court documents.
Once West picked the girls up in the early hours on May 13th, he drove them to his house where he had the 3 victims shave their heads, then offered the victims money in exchange for sexual acts.
West has previously solicited graphic images from one of the victims in exchange for paypal payments.
West’s first hearing is scheduled for June 8th.
