SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A Washington High School student won $20,000 after being recognized as the winner in a nation wide poetry contest put on by the National Endowment for the Arts.
Senior Rahele Megosha won the state competition and coasted her way through the semifinals.
Megosha was one of 9 national finalists in going into her competition Thursday evening.
