SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Here are highlights from Wednesday’s daily Sioux Falls Police briefing and an update on the vehicle involved in a recent hit-and-run accident.
POLICE LOCATE VEHICLE, DRIVER IN HIT-AND-RUN
Sioux Falls Police tweet that they found the red vehicle and the driver of a hit-and-run accident Saturday.
The incident took place at the intersection of 49th St & Solberg Ave.
A moped driver was seriously injured.
The police are continuing their investigation.
VEHICLE AND GARAGE THEFTS CONTINUE
There were more reports of items stolen from unlocked cars and garages Tuesday.
Sioux Falls Police once again are asking for your help.

MEN POINT GUN AT CAR
Sioux Falls Police are looking for two Native American men who flashed a gun at a driver Tuesday.
Police say the victim says they saw the men pick up the weapon while standing by a Chevy Impala.
The two got in the car and followed them, then pointed the gun at the victim and a passenger.
The authorities say others also spotted the car.
The culprits remain at large.
WAS IT AN ASSAULT OR NOT?
Local law enforcement is trying to determine if an assault took place or not.
Sioux Falls Police say that Tuesday, someone called and said they were being threatened by a person with a knife.
When the police arrive in the West 14th Street area, no one was there.
Police called the number back and a different person answered.
They said they had no idea what the authorities were asking about.
