SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com)– An elderly couple from Norfolk, Nebraska, have been identified as the victims in a fatal two vehicle accident near Freeman.
75-year-old Albert Wingate and 74-year-old Marilyn Wingate passed away after being severely injured in the crash.
They were hit head on by a large pickup truck that was attempting to pass another vehicle on September 11th.
The couple was taken to a Sioux Falls hospital where they received treatment for over a week.
Albert passed away on September 18th, and Marilyn on September 20th.
Charges are pending against the driver of the pickup.
