SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — While New Year’s celebrations usually entail fireworks and champagne, party-goers in north-central Sioux Falls celebrated in a much more illegal manor.
POLICE LOOKING FOR SUSPECT WHO SHOT MULTIPLE VEHICLES AND A HOME ON NEW YEAR’S EVE
Sioux Falls Police are looking for an African American male who fired several shots at a house and two vehicles on New Year’s Eve.
Authorities were called to the 400 block of north Covell Avenue shortly after 10 pm for a shots fired call.
By the time police arrived, the suspect had fled the scene.
While police aren’t sure how many shots were fired, they found damage to property in the area the shooting took place.
No injuries were reported.
Police believe the male was at a party with several people who may know who he is.

SIX CARS STOLEN OVER THE WEEKEND
Sioux Falls Police report the thefts of six vehicles over the holiday weekend.
Police Sergeant Paul Creviston says that while it’s still higher than the ideal number of zero cars stolen, it’s far less than they anticipated for this weekend.
Drivers who left their vehicles on while running errands during the frigid conditions got lucky!
