SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A murder suspect who shot himself after SWAT entered his apartment last week died over the weekend in a Sioux Falls hospital.
Sioux Falls Police say that 32-year-old Arthur Rudolph Miguel died from the self inflicted gunshot wound.
Miguel shot and killed 26-year-old Brianna Mattix-Hatch last week during what police believe was a domestic dispute.
There were two children inside the apartment as the standoff took place.
Both were rescued by SWAT team members and neither received any injuries.
