Saturation patrols lead to success in curbing street racing, exhibition driving

SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — More than 55-hundred tickets for speeding and exhibition driving around Sioux Falls, and that’s just the first eight months of the year.  A lot of those tickets were given during five saturation patrol efforts, which included the Highway Patrol, the Lincoln and Minnehaha County Sheriff’s offices and reserves, and the Sioux Falls Police Department.  Police Sergeant Joel Dalton says you can also help make it even more effective.
