PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — They say AM radio should be installed in every car. Attorney General Marty Jackley and 11 of his colleagues are urging Congress to pass the AM Radio for Every Vehicle Act. Jackley says Hurricane Helene – like the severe weather we experience in South Dakota, demonstrates the importance of AM radio. Car manufacturers want to include only FM Radios, but that would leave many remote and rural areas without access to emergency information.
