Boeing to lay off nearly 2,200 workers in Washington State, WARN notice shows

(Reuters) – Boeing is laying off nearly 2,200 workers in Washington State, a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) showed on Monday.

The layoffs are a part of a 10% job cut that the planemaker had announced in October, which is expected to impact about 17,000 workers in total.
