SAO PAULO (Reuters) – Brazil’s President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva will undergo a new medical procedure scheduled for Thursday in order to prevent further bleeding in his brain, newspaper Folha de S. Paulo reported on Wednesday.
According to Folha de S. Paulo, which did not say how it got the information, the procedure will also stop the blood flow to a region of his brain, aiming to avoid bleeding like that which led him to an emergency surgery on Tuesday.
