The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for dangerous fire conditions for much of southeastern South Dakota and northwest Iowa. The warning includes Lincoln and Turner counties.

High winds and dry air are driving the risk up, especially for places that didn’t get much rain when storms came through on Tuesday.
The NWS says to avoid doing anything that could spark a fire.
