WESSINGTON, SD (KELO.com) — A female construction zone worker died in an accident near Wessington this week. The Department of Public Safety says a flagger was struck and killed Tuesday when a large truck hit a vehicle that had stopped in the construction zone. The truck then struck the worker, who died at the scene. The name of the victim has not been released.
